 Hen

We raise our chickens naturally. Happy, healthy chickens mean healthy eggs and healthy people. Our hens are free to move around inside and outside of their barns all day.

Our hens are provided with high quality organic feed and fresh greenery from around the farm. They are free to peck at the ground and the "toys" in thier pens.  Our ladies, like most, like shiny things, but instead of diamonds we give them colorful aluminum soda cans to shuffle around the yard and  hay bale mountains to perch on. 

Each hen lays her eggs in her nesting box, which they also go in and out of as they please throughout the day. Eggs are gathered a number of times a day and immediatley  washed to ensure cleanliness. They are then set in the cold room to be packed into cartons or boxes for delivery,  the next day or so.
